Organic Garden
Organic Gardening. I have bugs eating the plants in my garden.?
What can I use this is not a chemical? I want something natural. Thank you.
It would depend on the type of insect. However, there are a number of natural ways to fight against a wide range of pests that are easy to apply. If squirrels and other rodents eat your plants, sprinkle with pepper spray, spray plants with a water solution and cayenne pepper. For small insects, spray the leaves of your plants with a mixture of 1 part dish soap to 10 parts water. It does not hurt not your plants, in fact, they will thank you! Garlic is also another deterrent for many insects you can spray a mixture containing garlic oil or present have some garlic in your garden. This is an excellent site for the prevention of bugs in your garden, first: http://home.howstuffworks.com/how-to-prevent-garden-pests-and-diseases.htm. You can also integrate the plants in your garden that attract beneficial insects (they eat pests). Good luck!
