What should I grow in my garden?
I'm working on learning to be more self-sufficient, and the life "off the grid". One of the things I've been searching is gardening. Specifically, I am eager to begin a well-balanced fruit and vegetable garden. I live in the Northwest, and we get lots of rain. The hotter it is like 100 in the summer, and things usually freezes in winter. What do I grow in my garden? The goal is to be able to grow food to provide for my family throughout the year. Yes, I understand that I 'll need to store some of them during the winter, and I can hunt and fish, etc. Also, let's just say that the size of the garden can be as large as necessary, so no worries there. My focus is on what exactly should I go to a well balanced diet underway.
