Organic Gardening For Beginners

Beginner Greenhouse General Question?

Hello, I've never been in the garden, but feel the need to probably take as soon as I start saving money on production and become more independent when it comes to food. My question is as follows. I live in Houston, Texas in a 0.5 acres lot, I have a little room for a decent sized greenhouse in my backyard. What type of gas should I look for in my area. I was doing some research and discovered that there are various types ig, some cold weather etc. also can anyone share good websites for beginners and the seasons of planting certain products. I appreciate all the help I can not wait to try mine btw fresh organic products before anyone asks, I forgot to mention I can not make a formal garden in my backyard because of all greywater septic tank spray on the lawn ..

My best advice to you would be going to your local community college or go online and do a course in greenhouses. They offered when I took Landscape Design. It should tell you everything you need to know.
