Organic Container Gardening
TopsyTurvey tree?
Well, I saw an infomercial on this type of planter called Tree TopsyTurvey thing where you can grow a garden, apparently on a pot. I'm not one to be sucked into infomercials, no matter how they sound, but I always wanted my own organic garden and I live in the city with only one back "patio" small. That thing looks incredible but I do not know. Has anyone ever tried? He says you can grow anything other than tomatoes, but I'm really skeptical about this … and of course everything in general. And my other question is, because is a closed container in the sun, would not grow mold in the container, damaging the roots and eventually cause plants to rot? http://topsyturvys.com/ Thanks in advance everyone! For common sense: How many plants did you put in a bucket 5 gallons at a time? Or rather, what is the maximum you put in a bucket?
The website is confusing and now also said they do not sell the product, if you need to call another number. There are clearly different products called Topsy Turvey. The original is a hanging bag you add soil and plant to hang up and the vegetables grow upside down. This is not a closed container, because it is open on top. You can do the same thing with a plastic 5-gallon bucket and a hole drilled in the background. You can also add holes on the sides and grow extra vegetables from their hand. I did it for 3 years.
