Organic gardening products such as pesticides, fertilizers must be certified?

I start a garden with organic tomatoes and so different options, I wanted to make sure I'm only using products that are in fact organic. I understand that only food and fiber require certification, but what about garden products?

If you want to be sure to look for the OMRI label or visit http://www.omri.org/ This is not a requirement for certain products will not be certified organic by OMRI.
